With sister-in-law from Naples launched at the Fort at 4. Two other vehicles in lot. Tide high. Southerly wind and waves encourged East River. Near mouth caught small trout and along marsh netted finger mullet and pinfish. Ran up river and watched 'special guest' catch two excellent Redfish - 21" and 23".

Well you've proved that all the fish haven't been washed up into Tates Hell or Wakulla Springs!
There's still hope then...

How was the river channel? Are the markers still accurate? Any new areas where it has silted in?

It was quiet on the water yesterday, too quiet, glad to have a good motor. Only saw one other boat. The ramp at the Fort had a sign "Closed Use at Your own Risk". The floating docks were gone.
From what I could see the channel markers along the St. Marks were in place - but would hate to be wrong.
I heard some of the levees at the refuge were breached - at East River and Stoney Bayou - but I did not have a chance to look.
I wonder about the other ramps? No access to the lighthouse ramp, don't know about Spring Creek or Bottoms or Mashes.
Planning on another trip later today or maybe tomorrow.

So there is some hope for inshore fishing!
