radio etiquette

Post by rx fisher »

Purchased a Marine radio, thanks for the advise seatrout99.
Hoped to get some of the do's and don'ts from you old or young salts.
What channels are most active in the big bend, esp St. Marks area?
What things do you hate to hear on the radio from a green horn?

Thanks again in advance.

Monitor 16 at all times. I will scan 16 and 68. Converse on 18 or 9 usually. Hail on 16.

Sounds like good advise to me. Seems to be the norm.
