Fished the rodeo this weekend, here's a couple of shots...the first shot is me, the rest are a couple of budd's of mine....there's a little bit of offshore in there as well.....

here's a couple pics from fri and sun. Saturday was a wash with us only catching 5 bonita, 1 spanish, couple of blues, hardtails and a schoolie king, so I didn't even pull the camera out. If we didn't get broke off 15 times, we didn't get broke off once. Seas were rough as sandpaper alllll weekend, but I did manage to get in atleast 8 hours of fishing/day for the last 3 days.... :P I'm a tired puppy....but it was worth every minute.....Friday, we absolutely tore the rear end out of the bullies, prolly the best I've ever gottin' on 'em.....we had double hook ups on every drift I made, with the exception of one time, and that's b/c I hooked one before my buddy even got his line in the water  . We got them in the 18-22 lb. class, 32-37 1/2". I wished we would have stayed longer but I was fishing the rodeo and the red's aren't a category....sooooooo, we left the reds biting while we went and hit some rigs 10-12 miles out.....yall be good! 8)

Good Job. I grew up on and around Dauphin Island and was there about three weeks ago and limited out on king macks. Looks like you tried Dixie Bar for your big reds? Drifting croakers across the bar? I would have loved to fish the rodeo this year but couldn't afford it. My dad still lives on the East end.

Congrats and I'm jealous! :D
