Launched from the lighthouse at 6:30 this morning. Started out east, but by 8:30 with not much happening headed west.

Started catching trout in 4'-6' water around 9:30 off of Live Oak Island. Ended up with 6 keeper trout(17"-21") and a few throwbacks. Used live pinfish to fool the keepers and jigs to fool the throwbacks. Moved into some redfish water by 12:00 and was able to catch 4 on gold spoons, spinnerbaits, and topwater. The redfish were 19"-28.5".

Got checked by the "Man" at the ramp. Nice fella and everything passed inspection. Had a great time out there today, but it was hot. Still, can't wait til next time.
