Dam was NOAA full of it or what.. Headed offshore with the son and a co-worker and at most times it was 2 - 3 and far more wind than 5 - 10, then as we passed through some of the rain seas flattened out to what looked to be OK. Saw one boat on the way out that was on the way in, should have figured this was not good. By the time we made it to the first stop the seas were every bit of 3 and tight. :x A slight rain and not looking to sporty, one other boat was out there, but there was no way I was gonna anchor in this mess. :smt013 OK we head back in some on a different track towards the clear break in the clouds, and located some good bottom in 37 ft and anchored up. Nothin but small grunts and seabass, maybe good place in the winter. Well did not take long for the storms to catch up to us so it was time to go in. Man we took a butt whoppin out and back in. Decided to try inshore and things were not much better, we thought the highlight for the day would have salvaged it a little, but not gonna happen.

Is there promise in this for the day...
