Decided to run down to Miccosukee around 2:30 today. Just got outside of Thomasville and noticed my trailor fishtailing. Looking closer the tire on the driver's side was wobbling!

Bearings were destroyed. Pulled over, put some things in the back of my truck and headed to walmart. Got back and changed the dang things on the shoulder of the road.
Two hours gone by.

Drove about 5 miles to my shop and left it there, I will do both sides this week.

I will make a kit for travel that will include all things needed to change bearings in an emergency!

I picked up 2 spare hub kits this year for just such an occasion. Sorry you had a little run of bad luck, R.B.

If you pull a boat trailer for any amount of time, especially a saltwater boat, you'll probably have the pleasure of a roadside bearing job. The hub kit is definately the way to go. I also carry a file, a hammer and chisel, and a small grease gun.

Hate to hear about your troubles, Red.
