Sunday Night Sleepover St. Theresa 7/31-8/1

Me and my buddy decided to camp out and wade fish. We got to the beach about 5pm sunday night on a low tide. Didn't catch anything but it was real beautiful.
We camped out made a nice bonfire out of wood from docks that was on the beach and some of the cut wood on the side of the road. (doing our part to clean up the beach!
)
My buddy told me about catching a Fl squid in his cast net and how it bit the crap outta him. I told him that I had never caught one. One of my first casts i caught a Fl squid. Cute little fellow.
We load up on bait and hit the water. Not much clarity and the tide was coming in hard. We did manage to catch 3 nice blue fish. I saw a 4 foot cobia come up right in front of us as well as some 5-6 ft tarpon. I would have been nice for those to give us a bite. I think we would have done better if the water was clearer. Oh yeah caught alot of 2ft and smaller sharks.
The tide kept comming in until we were no longer wade fishing but swim fishing. We left the water about noon. Oh yeah we dodged the storms!
