Is Keaton worth trying for scallops? Haven't seen any reports.

Hit-n-miss, FWIW I was at Keaton this weekend. Didn't get in the water myself but the radio chatter indicated that folks were finding them south of Keaton, most seemed to be around big grassy or 9 mile bank. I should have taken my scalloping gear

fishing was SSSLLOOWW

. One trout at 22'' , one bluefish about 18''. Caught some short trout but not many. Still was nice to be on the water though.

We were clening fish at the cleaning station and there were a couple folks with 5 gallon buckets iced down and cleaning them.

I think I have numbers in my gps. I'll try to remember to look tonight. Hit the last channel marker and go due south about ( you guessed it ) 9 miles

. I've only been there once, several years ago.

Nine Mile Bank

If its low tide you can't miss it, big ol sand bar in the middle of nowhere.
