Eufauls 8/19 - 8/21

Eufaula was as tough as I've ever seen it. The water surface temp was around 90. My partner and I did not catch a fish Friday. I finally caught 1 keeper Saturday. Which leads us to the tournament today. We went ot one of my spots Saturday about 10:30. The sun was up, and it was hot. We could get fish to peck at the bait, and immediately drop it. After some discussion last night, my partner and I decided to go back to where we got the peck bites, but go at daylight. Mind you, it was an 18 mile run, but we went. It paid off. I won the tournament, and my partner finished third.
However, i'm in no hurry to go back to Eufaula in august.
