Will the news of red tide in Franklin County change the tournament? Can the inland waters be fished? Is it safe to eat the keeper fish? If the fish are floating on the surface, is it ok to cull until you find a big one? It is still sorta fishing... I'm still in a boat and they are still in the water. HA!

If we have a tournament in September, perhaps we should just pile everybody on to our Torment Directors pontoon boat!

All would chip in on gas

..... all fish would be measured as they are brought on board and then released

..... winning team would have no shortage

(pun intended) of witnesses and Torment Directors job would be made much easier.

Speaking of the Tourney, when will we draw and such? Haven't seen anything specific at the Club website.

The drawing will be at the next club meeting at Beef O'Bradys' Thomasville rd. Tallahassee next Thursday night September 15 at 7pm.
Anyone wishing to be drawn to ride or Captain and cannot attend the meeting can post here.
The fish are biting. Let's have a big turnout.

Perhaps some of you can see the dilemma that those of us who participate in the tournaments are face with.

The information we receive from our leaders sometimes falls SHORT!

Next Thursday will be September the 8th, 2005.

There will not be a meeting on that evening!

There will be a meeting on the following Thursday September the 15th.

Our torment director will be there to draw the names provided his SHORT term memory doesn't fail him.

And those of us from the true South (who are educated

) know that after the "last" comes the "next"!! "Last" Thursday = Sept 1st. ..the "Next" Thursday = Sept 8th. Then comes the Thursday "After Next" (another Southern term you may not be familiar with

) will be September 15th which just happens to be the same date as our next NFGFC meeting.
According to accepted definations, the South is the Region of the United States including Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Missouri, Arkansas, Florida, West Virginia, and eastern Texas.
I can prove my roots!

and to this day...at every MU football game the band plays DIXIE! and you'd better be ready to stand up when they do

I say at the next meeting we set up a boxing ring and let 'em got at it. I bet we would have a big turnout and even a few new members. "Stumble in the Bungle 1"
