St. Marks 9/14/05

I think I'll do a Jumptrout51 report today.
4 Reds
1 shark
3 pinfish
40+ trout, 4 over 20"
All caught on Calcutta reels using various baits.
The only problem with today was I couldn't catch a slot trout. They were all either short, or over 20".
27" red and 25" trout

You have almost convinced me to brave the inshore hazards around St. Marks . . . almost.

TC,
DixieReb & I were going to go to St.Marks Friday but today I got wind of a red tide inshore at Mexico Beach. Have you heard anything on this or do you have any contacts that we could hook up with? With gas going for $2.70/gal here, 200 miles is a little to far to drive just for a dry ride to have to turn around and come back home.

BOY, JOHN, YA DID GOOD, THOSE WERE SOME PRETTY FISH. CARL AND I HAD PLANNED TO GO TOMORROW BUT I HAD AN ENGINE DROP A VALVE AND AM HAVING TO REBUILD IT INSTEAD.

No indication of any red tide around St. Marks inshore. Might wanna check the official FWC web site, though.
