Put in at the LH at 2:30 and caught the last 30 minutes of the Low tide. The action was pretty hot for 20 minutes - with lots of strikes and fish activity. Landed a decent trout and a ladyfish on a propellor / floating mirrolure. The ladyfish jumped at least half a dozen times. :D Once 3:00 came around somebody turned off the 'fish switch' and the bite ENDED. We left the flats and ran up the East River and got skunked. Stayed around til 5:00 and had to head home. The wind outta the South kept you scootin' along pretty good on a drift. Lots of grass. Very cloudy water.

One of these days tide patterns are gonna 'click' in my head and we won't be trying to fish the slack. :-D

I've noticed, since I started red fishing, when the tide stops, everything stops. I'm learning something every trip. Time well spent, Dave.

Way to hang with it.....If your getting bit and the tide goes slack...Stay in the area, once the tide changes they will normally turn back on...
