Slipped out for a little afternoon delight after work yesterday. Got on the water about 2, had been planning to go up river to avoid the wind and high seas, but instead ran east on the bathwater seas
First hour or so was slow but during the end of the rise it turned on a bit.
3 reds in a row missed my topwater. Time for the spoon. Soon after pulled in a nice red a shy under 27" !
Two nice trout between 19 and 20 soon followed.
Finished up catching 2 more reds, but both were "soft released" thanks to some rock grass...
Finally, caught my first seahorse, released unharmed wrapped on the line....
Thanks again to the weather man as the parking lot was shared by only one other soul
