Short report because I am beat. Tin can and myself fished east of the river. Seas flat to less than 1 foot all day.

10 trout--
2-21"
4-19"
4-15-18"

Caught on pinfish under cajun thunder and victimizer corks, and crimson dynamo jigs.

Water very stained inshore, out beyond the tide line was clear. Spotted 3 cobia at the bird rack and tin can hooked up the small one. The two keepers wouldn't hit.

Here are a couple of the pics...

Me and one of the 21 inchers--notice the grass line in the backround...

Very nice day on the water with no boat traffic.

Nice picures (as usual) Tom,
I thinks its really nice that you are teaching tin can to catch cobia. :)

That sea looks placid, after the storms, very inviting.

wondering about fishing the ecofina

No where to fish off the bank. It is over a mile to the gulf from the ramp.

Cran.

I tried to put him on a cobia, and he got one, just not the big one. The other two were nice size.

Same thing on the Aucilla. 2 miles to the gulf. The best places to fish off the beach are at the St. Marks Lighthouse and Wakulla Beach.

Cranfield, These fishin lessons are costin me a fortune. :D

We had a very good day. It was calm all day, after a week of terrible weather. Completely slicked off with no wind (found out I'm not supposed to say that word) for about 2 hours during the day. Got a little warm during that time. Fairly pleasant the rest of the day.

Blue Dolphin, average water dept was about 4'. We moved with the tide. The cobia were at Tom's secret honey hole (the middle one :) ). We didn't catch any reds at all.

Way to go Tom! I'm envious. Can't go for at least two more weeks. It's killing me.
