Holy Mackeral!!!

Hi Everyone,
My little cousin was in town Sunday and we headed out from the lighthouse around 7:30. After messing around with a flooded engine (oops) we ran over towards the Rock Garden. The trout were on and hitting everything we threw at them - topwater, doas, shrimp under c/t, spinners. We easily both had our limits within a couple hours. The wind was moving us south pretty quickly and we were about to move to the east flats when I noticed mackerals jumping everywhere. We stopped, threw some shrimp in the water to lure them and then immediately hooked into several - one right after another. I ended up with a 25" er (at the fork!) in the cooler caught, of all things, on a muskie lure from up north. When I then caught a 27" shark I decided it was time to go home.
What fun!!!!
You know it's a good day when the 'MAN' who writes you a ticket for not having your vessel registration in the boat (oops) is impressed by the size of the spanish in your box.
