Thinking about making a two night trip down the Suwanee starting in Fargo, GA. Anyone have any suggestions on outfitters, where to stop for the night, etc ?

you can check with American Canoe Adventures (407)227-5606 in white springs fl. ask for Rod Price they are on the Suwanee river and provide shuttle service to Fargo GA. and should help with any questions.

I was so impressed a few years back when a guy in the office went alone in a canoe from way upstream - Fargo I think - clear down to the town of Suwannee. He had a buddy drop him off and meet him at certain bridges with food and supplies. Camping along the shore worked fine but some rainy days and wind on the lower river made it hard. It was a great life-experience for him.

Thanks for the replys. I'm going this weekend from Fargo to White Springs. Should be fun although the weather seems to be heating backup.
