Econfina Report

anyone fished the econ lately? just looking to see what the fish are doing. thanks for any help.

Last weekend as dared the wind gods!
After wind finished water was really dingy and dirty between
Anky and Aucilla. I fished some 2-4' without anything except
shorts and cats. Spent most of time chasing reds around
creek mouths and picked up a few nice trout on topwater in
the process. Kept a nice red each day for grill.
Only felt a little cooler on Monday am but not a lot.

Good Luck! I'm going back Thurs night for three days and
a couple of my boys are coming down during weekend for
some fishing. Getting together with them is always a blast and
catching fish just an added bonus.

Hey RHTFISH, Me and a couple other guys are taking our sons camping and fishing down at Econ on Nov. 5th. Staying behind the store, if your down maybe we can meet and shoot the bull that evening, I know they'll plenty of it at our end anyway.

Sounds great! That's normally a very good time of year down at
Anky....less heat and bugs!
I'm on the resident end of campground #29.
If awning is out and
Ross's HIDEOUT sign in hanging by door stop by and say hello....
We've got a great admixture of folks on that end of campground!
We make every effort to enjoy ourselves for sure!
Only a few still have outstanding warrants and they're mostly in
Georgia.
