I spoke to a buddy who said there was a lot of dead pink-mouth grunts on the flats between Keaton and Adams Beach earlier this week and he associated it with red tide. I suppose since he saw mostly grunts the red tide was offshore, but does anyone have a recent report? I would like to go fishing on Saturday if it is clear in that area (on the flats).

Had a friend fishing Keatons Wed. he didn't mention any signs of redtide.
