THE TWO OLD MEN OF THE SEA LAUNCHED THE BARGE THIS MORNIN AT THE LIGHTHOUSE POOL ABOUT 7:30, EASED OUT THE CANAL AND SAW BAIT PODS GETTING BUSTED EVERYWHERE. CARL CAUGHT A RAT RED ON ABOUT THE FIRST CAST, A LITTLE LATER WWE CAUGHT 1 TROUT 18 1/2" THEN THEY SHUT DOWN. FORECAST WAS FOR 5-10 OUT OF THE NE NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS A STEADY 20 WITH GUST HIGHER. THERE WAS NO SENSE IN TRYING TO FISH THE FLATS. WE WENT DOWN TO THE BLACKHEAD ROCK AND POLED ON INTO STONEY. THE STRIKES WERE SLOW BUT WHEN WE DID GET A STRIKE IT WAS A QUALITY FISH. WE USED PUPPY DOG, SHE DOG,, BOMBER FLOATER, AND MIRROLURES TO CATCH ALL OF THE FISH.
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG WHILE FOR THE TWO OLD MEN TO LIMIT OUT AND ALL OF THEM WERE NICE FISH.
WE DECIDED TO HEAD BACK TO TALLY HO ABOUT 12:30.
THE FISH WERE FROM 15 TO 23 1/2", ALSO CAUGHT SEVERAL LADIES, AND A NEEDLE FISH.

YEA JOHN IT WAS GOOD TO GET OUT THERE AGAIN, I HAVE NOTICED THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO GET DOWN PRETTY REGULAR, AS WELL DO A PRETTY GOOD JOB ON CATCHIN.
THAT GREAT BIG FISH YOU BEEN PULLIN BEHIND YOUR BOAT, WHAT KIND OF FISH IS THAT, LOOKS LIKE IT MIGHT BE TOUGH TO EAT.

I had no intention of eating that one, PA. After I got that one back to the landing, in front of everyone, I released it. That catch will be long remembered.
WTG PA ya'lls dry spell had went on for much to long, but we knew it wouldn't last
