Alligator Point 10/15/05

Put the boat in at Alligator Harbor at 6:45am Saturday morning. Tide was at dead low, truck almost got stuck getting the boat off the trailer. Starter had come aloose from the engine block and required a water-side repair. 
Trudged across the bay in 1.5 foot of water at 5mph. 
The day had gotten off to a pretty rotten start in my opinion, but we were on the way to go fishing and nothing would stop us. First drift first cast live shrimp under a CT SMASH and off went the drag. 
Largest pompano I have ever caught in my life, in the cooler. Decided to try jigging. WHAM first cast with the jig 24â€
