I have just been to the NFGFC website and read the Tournament Rules.
Can entrants launch, fish and recover from anywhere ?
Can a member fish with a non-member being the only other person in the boat ?
Where are all the big fish ?

Cran,
I don't know about the launch rule. I hope we can launch somewhere else. I don't want to take my boat down the Econfina on Saturday morning. I'm planning on putting in at the Lighthouse and then trailering to the weigh-in. (Tournament Director is this O.K.)
I fished the Carrabelle inshore w/ my wife and she's not a club member. Just had to pay an extra $5 and she can only fish one more tournament this year unless she joins the club.
The big fish are usually not where I'm at.

RC,
Membership covers all family members living at the same address (per NFGFC website). They owe you five bucks and she's not limited to two a year. She is a member.
Tom, am I reading that correctly??

ST,
You know what? I just went to the site and you're correct. I didn't know that. I'm wondering if that was changed.
"Club Membership Dues (One Year)
Membership $40.00
Membership covers all family members living at one address
Tournaments: $10.00 for members $5.00 surcharge for non-members"
(from NFGFC.org)
I need a $5 refund/credit toward the next tournament.
Tom,
That form looks different than the one I filled out when I joined. Can you please add my wife as a member?

The rules changed for renewals and new memberships after August.. The benefits of being in the club more than a year. We did this to get more families involved. Wives and kids are now considered members if they live at the same address or are dependents. So she is already a member, under your membership. Same for your kids.
As for launching somewhere else, you need to e-mail Mike Dalton and ask him. You'll have to see Mike about the refund. Although the extra 5$ is appreciated for food and stuff for the cookout.

RC, I,ve also just reread the Rules.
Your wife has to move out of the matrimonial home immediately.
You are not permitted to "consort" with her from this moment onward.
You will remarry a women chose by the Club from amongst its list of unattatched females.
Every effort will be made to find one with most of her own teeth, but this is not guaranteed.
Tough old Club this NFGFC ain,t it.
