10/20 St Marks Afternoon

These meetings are killing me...
Met a friend at St Marks yesterday. We decided to drift for trout. No wind whatsoever! But, I put them on a good drift and moved a bit over. Listening to their hollerin from catchin nice trout I was being skunked when...
Bam! A major hit on my topwater. 28" red. This followed up by a 26.5" and then a lost red! Out on the flats!
That got my red fever up so I went in shore as they finished out their limit on trout. Ended up hooking about 11 or so and landing 8. Picked up 3 trout to 20". Most were caught on jigs....
Can't wait till next time!
