Got out on the flats about 10:30, a bit late for the rise, but hoped to fish the fall. Tried for reds right off and caught a nice 22" on a spoon

. Followed this by a bigger red on top water that made the grass and got off. Had one more strike and then nothing happend at high tide or the fall.
A good half hour though. Tried a few drifts for trout on the fall but it was dead. Sooooo, ran in to try again tomorrow.

Good luck tomorrow, RS. I know it'll be a tough day, as you'll have a handicap with you.

Handicapped in that I have to fish with 1 hand tied behind my back just to make it fair for those redfish as well as my partner.

For the record = only time BD's hand was tied behind his back is when he got caught up in his own backlash!

Look at how these boys treat me.

I take time out of my busy schedule to train'em to catch redfish and then they turn on me
