St. marks 10/27, a day with Dad

Even though the day started with smoke pouring from my trailer at
mahan and Blairstone, it was a great day with my Dad.
Lucky I had a spare hub already to go and all the tools, so in NASCAR fashion, we quickly ( 40 minutes) changed the hub and were on our way.
The rising tide was over by the time we got there, but we did our best.
Don and I fished last Saturday and we had found a pretty active spot, but
we must have fished it out, because not a bite. The water has cooled quite a bit, 64 degrees and the fishing patterns have changed too.
The trout on the flats were really scattered, we found a few

Here's Dad with a nice trout, caught on a jig with CT, The west flats
bites were few and far between, except for a douple hook up.
The east flats were a little better, but more shorts.

Me with my handful of trout.
The weather was beautiful and the time spent with my Wife and Dad
was great.
