What's the deal?

How come all the poor fishing reports? Has this little cold snap messed it up for a while? Are the flats done for the year or will it pick back up? Is it creek and river time? and how do you fish those? No I'm not kidding, I only know how to fish the flats.

After over 40 years of fishing this area, I can tell you without fear of contradiction that the movement of the fish to and from the flats is a mystery wrapped within an enigma.
Seriously, this weather should move some reds toward the creeks, but trout usually don't move into the rivers and creeks until there has been a hard freeze.
The wind is what has messed with me and those I've talked with.
I was going tomorrow until I got the wind report.
