Got the chance to take my wife out before winter sets in.
Beautiful day, got to the LH an hour before high tide, went to the
spot looking for reds. We were there maybe 15 minutes and had
2 keepers in the box, the day is looking pretty good.

One a spotless and a little bigger from my wife and I had a good pull too.
caught a couple more shorts for fun, then Deb says if we can't keep any more why are we here. Off to look for trout.

Fished in about 4 foot of water most of the day, steady bite mostly on shrimp to jigs tipped with shrimp. water temp just around 68.
Caught 3 shorts for every keeper, nice ratio, finished the day with
2 nice reds, 8 keeper trout and nice blue( grouper bait tomorrow).

Got check by the man at the dock, glad I didn't take any chances, if it was close it went back in.
Nice day on the water, I'm gonna miss the flats.
