Went with a buddy to the Rock Garden Saturday early. Cold east wind and chop at first but by late morning, as the tide peaked, it became calm and pleasant. Searched without success for something called "Ocean Hole", a spring I read about in an old document. Fished some rocks with great success - between us 20 reds (4 keeper sized), 1 keeper sheepshead, and some grunts, spots and lizard-fish. Not many boats out; figure the cold and football kept folks home. But there a few boats that amazingly whizzed through some major boulders. Football on radio dismal but on the water it was all good.
