Got on the water at daylight, cold and windy with a fast falling tide. Ran to Bear creek and started catching right off the bat :-D between daylight and 10:30 I landed no less than 40 "YES 40" Bass :smt004 but it took that many to get my 5 keepers :o which is expect in Bear creek, you go there for catchin more than for keeping  made a quick run to Shell river to see if I could find a Red, but could not locate any this time  I expect that they will be moving in at any time now though  Water temp was at 56 and the fish only hit a Rattlin Rouge, jiggled on top "maybe 4 fish hit while running it under the water" :-D Home by 11:30, eating fried Bass and Shrimp by 12:30 :lick: All in all, a very good day

Sounds like an excellent trip. Since last time I went to the Wakulla and caught that red and sheepshead I've been hearing more reports of fish moving into the creeks. I imagine they should be up in the Shell any day now. :D

It should be close to time for the fish to turn on in the creeks. Now, if I only had time to go............

Bear Creek is a hoot for catchin. You can usually have a ball in there.Have you been to Buckhorn lately?
