Panacea 12-17

My son and I loaded up the canoe to fish a creek that has been holding some nice reds in the pools at low tide. Got there about 2 hrs after the low and the bay looked like the moon and the creek was about 3in deep and 5ft wide at the mouth 
butI just knew they would be there so out of the boat I go to to pull it and my son up that creek(left my waders at home knowing I wouldnt hafto get wet 
)man it was tough and the only fish we saw were a couple of minnows, oh well. I rarely go to the coast and come back empty handed, we already had 50 nice large shrimp from Jerrys just needed something to go with them, so we caught some nice blue crabs, dug out some stone crabs 
and picked up half a bucket of oysters. We were wet, cold ,tired, but man that plan B sure was fun and a great time with my best bud.
