I suspect that a lot of us "wanta be's"
who frequent this forum get really envolved with trying to learn all the tricks and becoming expert at matching the conditions to when we go fishing.
We've formed opnions that only certain criteria must be in the proper order to ensure a successful day of fishing. For example, some pay particular attention to the moon phases, or the feeding/activity forecast. Other's rely on the tides, looking for the proper amount of water exchange to insure a good catch.
Temperatures are the key for some to indicate when the fish will turn on or turn off. I mention these factors as support to my less than enthusiastic reaction to a phone call on Friday and an invitation from TC to “lets go fishing Saturdayâ€

An excellent read. What a day fellas! Is this the end of the TinCan-Sir Reel curse? Where in the world did you get those horrendous looking jigs hanging out of those reds' mouths? Those reds must have been trying to kill the things rather than eat something that loooked like that.
Sir reel, you deserved a day like that. I'm real happy for you.
TinCan, I'm not sharing anymore "holes" with you.

Rodbow, Sir Reel knows exactly where "The Hole" is. I have $10 that says you can't get him to take his boat in there.

I bet it warmed up real quick when that drifter took off. Gotta love those winter redfish, and man they are purdy with that tail glowing blue, good catch guys

TC, I don't know... we been in some tight creeks before. Besides, there weren't any rocks in the background of them pictures...

He found out why I have a stainless prop. If we had been in his boat, with an aluminum prop, he wouldn't have a prop left.
There are no rocks in the pictures, but we passed plenty to get to the hole.
How far east were we? If I told ya, I'd have to kill ya.

Good Show boys!!! and Finally some good pictures....
Now where exactly did you all go? Once again I can hear TC's words ringing in my ears, " You won't know wif you don't go".
I spent the afternoon getting all the burrs off my prop, and fixing my transducer from the last trip down the Aucillia. Such a warm day, this afternood would have been great!

, you would probably have caught 40 or more fish....
