Took my daughter and paw in law to the light house and ran east to Stoney Bayou looking for redfish. Found one. Caught him a Rattling Suspending Rogue.

Also managed a couple of ladyfish, small trout and catfish.

Sea breeze was a little stiff when we got there and made navigating the back country a little tough. The 3 year old was a little tough as well, but she had fun catching pins and reeling in ladyfish and catfish.

Water was clear in the creeks but a little stained out a ways. Would have looked for clearer water but the storms were keeping us close.

Left around 7:00 to slick calm conditions.

Throw the redfish back and keep the one in the life jacket.
It's a small world, unless you had to paint it.

I think I saw you out there, if you stopped to fish a little before the lighthouse on the way in. Maybe, maybe not.....

We caught trout pretty consistantly (only 2 keepers), but as it got closer to dark it was sharks, sharks, and sharks.

Tried back country also, missed one good bite on the grass line, and never had another one, lots o' mullet back there. It's no longer worth it to leave T-town at 4:30 for fishing at St. Marks, it gets dark too quick!

I knew that boat looked familiar. Yep that was us. I saw you catch what looked like a good trout just as we passed you. I really wanted to stay until dark but couldn't.

She's definitely a keeper Tom! That's a great picture and an even greater tribute to a dad who's doing what he should. I don't want to wish time away but I can't wait until my gals are big enough to get in on some good fishing. Good job man!
