Got in the water both days about 0945 due to the low water. Somehow I managed to miss the fact that the tides were misprinted in the w and w this month. Went straight to the creek where I caught the reds the week before. Slow for the first hour or so but when the water turned the fish turned on.Caught 48 Reds and 4 keeper trout. All reds were short but one. I fished shrimp on the bottom with a slow retrieve. I point this out only because of what happened the next day in the very same spot. When back at the same spot next day, had the same results, almost. After catching numerous reds, we threw the shrimp out and just let it sit on the bottom while we snacked. Wham, a good hit but this time 18.5" trout. We caught 11 more keeper trout and never moved the shrimp. Sometimes it would take 10 minutes for them to hit it but I'll take that anyday. When we moved the shrimp slowly it was reds. Total for the second day was 60-65 reds and 13 trout(one short). The fish never cease to amaze me and I do not understand them like alot of you guys but I think I learn or discover somethind new every time I go. Thank the Lord for two beautiful days of fishing.
