This looks like a great site. We have recently acquired a place on the river in Carrabelle, and are trying to learn how to fish, where to fish, and what to fish with. We have a 22 ft boat, and are most interested in bay and inshore fishing. I would love any and all advice!

Welcome aboard! Like Chalk said, do some searches and read the archives. Ask questions at will. Someone will answer you whether we know what we're talking about or not :D

New Fisherman, I'm sure you'ld get much better advice if you give us a time when we could meet at your place. Personalized service and all, you know. I think there's gonna be a tournament over in St. Joe Bay coming soon. That would be a good time to invite us all down as we'ld only be staying two nights!

Welcome on.

Yo yjrcdxz ??? Get ya fangers on the wrong keys? :-D
Welcome to the forum and Carrabelle. Ya shouldna aughta said anything about living on the river. Like R/B sez, ever body is gonna want to come for a visit.. I live on the low rent side of the river, but not on the river..
All kiddin' aside, we'll get ya going on where to fish around here.
I haven't been doing much fishing in the past six months- To many honey-do's. Lately, there hasn't been much action on the Carrabelle River, from what I been hearing. You might try the mouth on the east side for starters, then back up the river on the Crooked River side for specs, when the season opens again. (Closes in a couple of days.) Maybe the north side of DI or around the east end of SGI for white trout or whiting.
Good luck with it..
