Carabelle 10/13/02

Fished inshore out of Carabelle this morning. Had to run east to Lanark to find clear water. The bay at Carabelle is discolored. Four of us had our limit of good keeper trout, with 3 fish over 20, by 11:00 A.M. Most were caught on a grub under a Cajun Thunder. Some were caught on a 7M Mirrolure. 3.5 to 4 ft. of water over irregular bottom was the key. The bite was spotty, but we occasinnally doubled. We still probably caught 4 short fish to every 1 keeper.
