After the fishing excursion the day before getting up early this morning was greatly anticipated and easy. We head to Savannah’s hoping for a good meal and some harassment from Jumptrout51, we received both…even Sir reel and Eerman showed for some fine food and fellowship.

Paid my dues, got in the big fish pot and off we go...hoping the hordes of mullet, trout and redfish were still in the creek that we were in yesterday. We launch at the lighthouse pool at 6:45 and take off hoping the back door had enough water for us to make it into our creek…. We make it all the way to our spot until Tin can cuts it in a little too much to the left and we go from 20 to 0 in about 3.5 seconds… Shoes off, pants rolled up, out the boat….We make it to the channel and to the first hole…

As we make our way to our second hole, we hear this boat scratching and clawing it’s way near us to the west…. we were working our way to hole number three when wouldn’t you know it…Dang ol’ Jumptrout51 and Butch come sneaking through the saw grass on top of hole number three…

I told tin can he shouldn’t of taken Jumptrout51 fishing with him the other day, it was obvious that he installed a tracking device on the “redcrossâ€

Champs again. Great job. The development of the story worked great too. I was sure the day ended with little or nothing. I also thought TC lost the big fish.
Very nice.

The majority of the preceding account of yesterday's trip is mostly true. :-D

I suppose I've gotta spend some time finding that tracking device JT hid in my boat.

Partner, thanks again for another chapter in the exciting, continuing saga of Chalk and TC's big adventure.

Chalk said a 26 1/2 inch red.
Let's just say they were lucky not to be checked by the man and NFGFC has lax measurement rules.

JT, you and Butch obviously knew more about the creek than we did. We watched the two of you catch more fish in an hour than we caught all day. We just happened to get 1 lucky bite.
