Played hooky this afternoon, and headed to the mighty Ecofina in search of some reds, and trout.
The wind was BLOWING! Water was dark, and the fish were not biting!
Fished Long Point (twice), then all the way to Rose Creek, and all the way back to Ecofina.
Two short reds. That's it. Didn't see a trout. Saw a hand full of reds, and a few mullet jump.
Threw spoons, jerkbaits, spinners, topwater, and grubs.
Hoping to get a pass for tomorrow :-D .

Beat the banks, and fished no more than 50-75 yards in a couple of creeks. High pressure must have shut them down :smt102
