Anyone who has read Wevans report of 3/4/6 will understand!

Partner and I put in at lighthouse at 7am...It was doggone cold!. :o .. headed west, turned in between Shell point and Patties Island rode North into Goose Bay then back North East towards Graves,Middle Creeks, etc. Almost made it. .. bottomed out about 50 yards from the Creek mouth... Started polling against the North wind... broke poll in three pieces..nobody hurt  Partner and I exit 19' Carolina Skiff :smt013 ...Water was very refreshing :smt012 ...(IT WAS DOGGONE COLD!) managed to drag 900 lb skiff (dry weight not counting 75 hp Yamaha, fuel, gear, etc) back South to water deep enough to idle in. Started fishing/drifting with North wind... fished spinner baits, topwater, spoons, straight grubs, shrimp drag'n off the back....It was doggone cold! No bites... stopped at oyster bars on West side of Patties, No bites... ran West to Shoreline...fished more oyster bars.. No bites...1pm ...able to take first layer of clothes off  Fished some deeper water...No bites... 2:45 back on trailer. Jumptrout51, Brother Butch, and their party of anglers were at Savanna's when we stopped for breakfast... I'm sure they will have a much more encouraging report... they all know how to fish.... I'm now resigned to the fact that I'm, at best, a fair weather fisherman  .... Note to Wevans...I still believe there's hope for you..don't give up! :D

Total's for the day:
1 3piece polling pole
1 Carolina Skiff that looked like a work boat for a dredging crew :smt011
No bites,No Hits, No Runs, No errors.
No way to measure the water temp.... but IT WAS DOGGONE COLD! :o
1 very gracious partner

It was a little chilly this morning. We fished from Big Pass to Cow Creek and nothing. Chunked em everything in the boat except the dog! Tough day. Weather is looking better in the morn. I think we might try Econfina. Tight lines

Ya know Bud, that reports sounds familiar. The only thing missing was..."man the fog was thick". KingEider, maybe next time you should try chunkin' the dog :-D :-D
