Thirteen pounds for the big five trout today. If we do as well tomorrow in the JBT Seatrout tournament we will be happy. Had a double limit by noon, caught over 40 trout with only 7 short. Most fish 18.5" and larger. Threw back 6 over 20". Kept 1 red at 24",threw back 5 reds just under 18". If we didn't already have 2 over 20" on the boat weight would have been better by 1 to 1.5#.
Various baits. No single bait was dominate.
Oh yea,went east.

Good deal, JT. Buckle down and take care of business tomorrow.
Fished Keaton today. Weighed my best 5 fish = 12.2 lbs. I think its going to take more than that on the 25th.

Just checked the NFGFC website. 8.9 lbs. won it last year. Caught 12.2 yesterday; you boys gonna have to tighten up.

Yeah but yesterday's conditions were more like the ones we had 2 years ago. Check the website for what it took to win that one. You'll be a little short.

TK, don't forget I was fishing with a 7 yr. old. Surely my partner will help share the load on the 25th.

BD,
That depends on who your partner is. If you were partnered with someone like me, your 7 yr old would be a better bet

I know who your partner is. His back will be killing him by the end of the day from carrying you.
