Snagless Sally on a Sunday South of Tally?

I'm quite the poet, eh? Hehehehe.

The recommendation has been to try Snagless Sally lures for our first "official" outing on Sunday.

I have a few quick questions. First, where is the most convenient place to buy them? What color skirt is recommended? What weight and sized hook is recommended for the Wakulla area we'll be fishing? Do you recommend going with a pork frog trailer? If so, what color? Finally, exactly how are they fished?

Thanks, in advance, for the info! It's definitely appreciated!

Try River's Bait and Tackle. I think he had some, last time I was in there.
I think Jerry's Bait and Tackle also had them, last time I was there.
I know Ace Hardware in C'ville and Circle J's had them last time I was in both those places.

I've been using the 3/8 oz, but think I would prefer the 1/2 oz size, that I haven't been able to find, on my casting rods.

I was using a pork chunk frog for a trailer on Snagless Sallys, until I ran out and haven't picked up anymore. You could try matching the skirt color, but I don't think the color really matters.

I've been fishing them: cast, reel moderately slow, repeat.

You might also want to consider rootbeer DOA shrimp. My Dad and Mom have both caught nice fish on them this week. :D

Are you having a one lure tournament. Some clubs have one lure tourneys and they write the manufacturer to provide the lure and they do. Its a great way for them to get their products out, so take advantage of your power as a group and get some free swag for your group.
