A 20 mph YAK?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I just got in the lateset issue of paddler mag. As I flip though it I find this artical. Norwegian paddler clocked at nearly 20 mph on a hydofoil kayak. will be for sale this summer for only $2500.00

I don't know.....I heard rod holders on that thing slow it down about 12 mph.

was thinking I could borrow apalach's peddle drive off his Hobie to compinsate

I didn't think of it until just now, and I'm sure someone, somewhere, has already done it, but I bet a rowing shell with a hydrofoil like that on it would flat out haul butt.
