Wife and I hit the water around 6:30 to beat the low tide. Headed out to the east about a mile, and drifted out, FAST. Wind was blowing out of the north at a good clip. Caught several short trout, and one keeper. Then headed over to Rock Island area, and caught another 10 or 12 with one being a 16" keeper. Water calmed down around 11 and the bite stopped...
stayed out till around 4 when the wind picked back up with hardly a bite.....

Had fresh trout, cheese grits and fries for supper.....

All in all, a good day on the water.....

Oh, yeah, wife caught the most and the biggest fish...

Ain't it great when your wife catches the big one!

I had a similar kind of dayon the Aucillia 3/18/2006... but I was alone.
