Thanks to Wevans,Devans,Birddog and Slow Reel. Without their help the tournament would have had a much later start. They graciously offered to tie anchor lines to our boat and pull it from the muddy ooze in the Keaton canal.
Whoever moved our boat and tied it there in the first place was certain they would get a head start on us Saturday. That was until the "RULES AT THE RAMP" clause took effect. Which was no one can leave until everyone can leave.
I am not accusing anyone in particular of moving our boat, but the above mentioned people sure offered help real quick.
Then there is the rest of the bunch standing around and giggling. They too are suspect. The fact they offered no help weighs heavily in their favor. Especially the one who wanted to leave the area and get a 30 minute notice before we could leave the ramp. Had the above mentioned people not pulled us out, would he have shown up in the nick of time and done the pulling out of guilt? I suspect I will never have anyone admit to the truth. Perhaps it was a total conspiracy and all 16 were involved. Someone will spill the beans before it's over.

At least you could be thankful that there was nothing nasty floating by at low tide like there used to be years ago :o :smt011

Part of wining a tournament is knowing where to fish.

Obviously, knowing where to tie your boat up is now also part of a wining strategy. :smt005

At first I thought "What a Shame"

Then I remembered the times you have taking your cigerette and burned my fishing line in two on my rods.

Now when I think of you being high and dry, I think it is halirous. :smt005

Good win just the same.
