Does anyone have any info about the boat ramp
near the bridge on St. George Island? Is it usable?
Any information would be most helpful.
Headed down there on Friday-Sat-Sun....
Need good place to get in and get out.
Thanks
MJ

Yes you can use it as long as you watch the tides. What size boat?

I have a 22ft aquasport and at low tide there is know way I can use the ramp and at high tide I am generally okay but it depends on the size and wieght of your boat.
Good luck!!

He launched at Aucilla at lowtide, dirt would be easy
There used to be a launch in the State park on the bay side

There are 2 launches in the State Park, on the bay side. Use the second one. It's much better than the ramp at the bridge.

You can't get to either ramp in the state park as of last weekend

Looks Like I'll have to make the run from the Eastpoint. Is there a good ramp at Eastpoint? I'm thinking "sportsman's lodge" maybe?

I've never launched at Sportsman's lodge. Their ramp is in East Bay. If you're gonna run that far, launch at the Appalachicola ramp, under the bridge.

What part of the bay do you plan on fishing and I'll point you toward the closest ramp that will work.
