Offshore Trollin’
RG and I got up April Fools day to check out the navy sea buoy to see what the seas were going to do. After a quick review we thought it would be ok for us to go out and try some stretch 30’s. Hell I think we would have gone if it said 3 to 4’s. We launched RG’s 24 foot Outrage and headed to the East Pass. The pass was a little choppy going out and got up to the 3’s and 4’s we hoped we would not see. But after we got out to the 50 foot area the seas calmed to the 1’s and 2’s we were expecting.
What a great day. The water temp was @ 67 degrees water clarity was great and not a cloud in the sky. Life is good off Carrabelle Beach today.

We started trollin’ around 9:30 AM on a rising tide. Things were a little slow at first. It’s almost 10:30 AM and we did not think that the fish wanted out Red/White and Red/White/Mylar Stretch 30’s.
Then one rod bent. RG brought it in a 31â€
