Carolina (mini) Maiden Voyage

Took the unnamed skiff out for initial-official family run down and up the river this afternoon. Blowing too hard towards the mouth of the river when we got there and looked like everyone was coming in. Yes, it sprayed a little and my wife asked, "Is it supposed to beat the water like this?" I said it was just because it was a little rough!
Went up past the lower bridge so the kids and boss would be more appreciative of the smooth riding qualities of the flat bottomed boat. Saw Charles and his crew on their catama-canoe setup. Said hi but I didn't want to interrupt their siteseeing tour along the side of the river. Good time and got the boat back on the trailer the first shot - thank heavens 'cause there was quite a crowd at the fort ramp for an audience! Nothing broke. The supply buying list got started.
it was good to get the city boys and girls out
