plastic eels

Found some of the soft plastics eels on Sunday. Never tried them before. Great looking bait, but no success on them. What is the best way to fish them? Tried them under a c/t but not even a hit.

They will work under a CT. Or you can put them on a jig head, or just a hook, and fish them weightless. Keep truing. They catch fish.

I sometimes I use a 6" SWB "silver Phantom" color. Works best around Lanark & St. George. at St. Marks I use a 5" candy-corn eel. I use them both with a under a CT with either 1/16th or 1/8th oz jig heads, or without the CT depending on the winds. Some days any color will be productive (those days are right around the corner....
