Hit the water again, launching from the LH around 6:30 this morning. Chalk got me fired up with his big trout yesterday, so I was determined to find some decent trout.
Boated 4 trout over 20", one of these at 25.5" along with 4 slot reds. Lost that many more to poor/missed hooksets. Stuck with topwater all morning. The bite shut down after the fall around 11:00 or 12:00. The bite picked back up about the time the tide turned but so did the wind. Decided to call it a day . Met 2'-3' waves in the river which made for an interesting return to the lighthouse.
Pulled the camera out on the 1st fish this morning and the battery was toast, so you'll have to take my word for it.
Can't wait til next time.
