Started out this a.m. out of the Lanark Ramp at 0800 with a cool 7-10kt North wind. Went where I caught some fish the other day in 35 feet and caught a few short grouper (20 to 21"). My co-worker James Osteen hooked this nice gag here that went about 29" and was healthy.

Couldn't find any Kings to strike a silver spoon, Stretch 25-red/white, or Stretch 30's yellow and pink. Checked out some other numbers that I had. Found some nice rock ledges in about 55ft...but no bites.

Went to a spot about 6 miles S/SE of O-Tower and found one of these below:

Too bad Snapper season isn't open just yet...I had to release this nice one. =(

Tried some other spots in the area with nothing. Went to the O-Tower and something hefty took a LY I put on the bottom and immediately got me "rocked up".
:-?
Stopped at the One More Time wreck and caught some short grouper there. It was getting late in the afternoon so we headed in. We saw this marker buoy upside down going in to East Pass. I wonder what happened to it? :o

Didn't load the boxes like I wanted to, but we had a fun day on the water in my new boat.

Next time you drive into Lanark, go 5 more moiles south and tell me if they have done any work on the Islandview Inn.

And how about a picture of the boat ramp area, last time I saw it was the day after the hurricane.

And if its a new boat, how about a new boat picture!
