15-8 lbs. Fishing Report

Knowing there was a low tide and northeast wind 10 to 20 would create a shortage of water. We launched at Spring Creek and ran to Cobb Rocks where there is always water. Fished there in the early morning using Jerk baits and Stick baits. At 9:03 am we had five Trout all over 19". The tide had begun to come in strongly. At this time we moved inshore to about a foot of water (my favorite). I told my partner that when we get to that rock to throw behind it (Big Fish Rock). We both threw a few times, then he had a large trout on which broke off just that quick, about 10 seconds later the large trout surfaced again shaking the plug, I threw on the fish and hook up with our largest trout of the day (24" Vary Fat). we did catch another 24 later. JT51 did show around noon, but we were on our way back to Spring Creek. It was time to get some miles behind us.
