Checked the tides and decided not to get in no great rush. Lauched just before 10 and ran toward the rock. Water was pretty stirred up, but my son, his bud and myself ended up with 10 nice keepers. Most caught under CT's. Wind got up and so I got up and left about 2:15 or so.

Got the hill and filleted two fish when my boy asks if he can clean some (first time he's ever showed an inclination). Gave him my 5 min lesson on how to butcher a fish and danged if the boy didn't do a pretty decent job cleaning the fish.

Only sour note was the idiots who would see us catch a fish and then move over and steal our drift. If that had not happened, we would have really loaded the boat.

Great day with the young man who is my son :-D
